Clay McClinton’s roots are firmly planted in the traditions of Texas music, where strains of country, blues, rock ’n’ roll and Tex-Mex blend effortlessly into a sound he likes to call “Texas gumbo.”
After spending 10 years diligently honing his own version of that sound, McClinton showcases his range as an artist and writer on his fourth and most ambitious album, Bitin’ at the Bit.
Clay has always dreamt about acting and has been waiting for the right opportunity to try his hand at it. When Mark Baugher asked him to play “The Doctor”d in the C-Bar movie he jumped at the chance. Acting seems to come as natural to Clay as playing music and he looks forward to more experiences in the film industry.
